Jardim Carlos Anjos, also known as Jardim dos Passarinhos, is a charming garden located in the heart of Monte Estoril, in Cascais.
It was inaugurated on October 4, 1889.
Its design is the work of architect Jorge Segurado, a key figure in the introduction of architectural modernism in Portugal.
At the beginning of the 20th century, it housed a meteorological station, highlighting Monte Estoril's climatic qualities as an excellent winter resort, considered superior to destinations such as Biarritz, Cannes, or Nice.
