In 1912, Édouard Noetzlin, chairman of the board of directors of the Bank of Paris and the Netherlands, became the new owner of the estate.
Following the Second World War, his son Jacques offered to transfer the property to his friend Frédéric Joliot-Curie, then director of the National Center for Scientific Research. The deed of sale was signed in 1946. The CNRS set up its offices within the castle grounds and its laboratories in part of the park, but committed to preserving the estate as it was.

Pretty castle marking the entrance to the town center of Gif-sur-Yvette coming from the east. The cycle path which bypasses it from the south gives a nice close view.
