As it's a main road, be aware of VW transporter type campers as they really cut you up trying to keep their speed up and will overtake while there are double white lines and traffic coming the other way. I've been up this hill a couple of times rect and it is dangerous.

Start of the 3km ascent up the bwlch. Heading east a couple of hundred metres before the hairpin bends that have the steepest grades of the hill.
