La Compôte is a pretty little village in the Bauges massif regional natural park. It is nestled at the foot of Mont Colombier, one of the fourteen peaks over 2,000 meters from Les Bauges. There is something to eat and spend the night there.

Do not hesitate to stop at the Gaec des Chardons bleus to stock up on cheese and regional dishes cooked on site. Super good, affordable and open even on Sundays at the end of the day!
