Balancing Rock is a stunning rock formation close to Kamloops and Kamloops Lake. Surrounded by grasslands, the towering rock was created by erosion over thousands of years since the last Ice Age. Keep your eyes peeled for more interesting geological features as there are some unique hoodoos in the vicinity. All these formations are made of conglomerated glacial tills.
