The church in Ketzür is one of the most attractive places of worship in the Havelland district due to the peculiarity and rarity of its original layout and later forms of transformation, as well as the very valuable fittings and magnificent wall paintings. It is essentially a heptagonal brick building from the 13th century. In 1599 the burial place of the Brösickes was set up in the east and richly furnished. Epitaph for H. v. Brösicke (1611/13)

A striking part of the village church is the heptagonal medieval central building. This joins the tower somewhat to the right or south of the center line. It was built of brick and is the oldest part of the church. According to various sources, it dates from the 13th or late 14th century. The building was raised in the 15th century.
