Properly 'Antica Pieve di S. Giustina', this church is commonly called 'Old Cathedral', as it was the cathedral of Monselice until the construction of the new one in the mid-20th century.
It is a church dating back to 1256, in Romantic style with some Gothic decorative elements on the outside. There was a previous parish church (from the 10th century), built right on the top of the Colle della Rocca, but in 1239 Emperor Frederick II ordered it to be demolished to make room for the construction of the imposing and impregnable keep for military use: thus it had become necessary rebuild the parish church lower down, in its current position.
Behind the church, the panoramic terrace and the staircase are very beautiful (Vicolo Scalon).
