Why cancer? Because there were plenty of them in pure Radomka! They found their way to many tables under the name Jedlińskie crayfish. In the past, crayfish were eaten very willingly, especially between May and September. In Polish cuisine, three crayfish dishes are valued: turban (i.e. in jelly), soup and crayfish cooked in cream, wine or dill water. And without crayfish butter, it was impossible to prepare a sauce called cardinal sauce. The crayfish monument in Jedlińsk was unveiled in the Market Square in August 2006. It is the only monument of this crustacean in Poland.
