The following story is connected with the name of the village: a wealthy nobleman named Niklas visited the Grand Master of the Teutonic Order at his court. In honor of his guest, he arranged a great feast where he used barrels full of gold instead of chairs and sat his guests on them. Legend has it that several of these barrels full of gold were thrown into the Vistula stream to redeem the sins committed by Niklas

The Mikoszewo - Drewnica road and further towards the bridge in Kiezmark is heavily rundown (unevenness, holes, asphalt higher than the terrain) which, combined with the lack of roadsides, creates a risk of a cyclist falling. At night, there is only lighting in places - I advise against going out after dark!
