Hiking

Since 2014, the forest on Bad Wildbad's Sommerberg has been accessible in a different way. The treetop walkway stretches 1,250 meters through the forest at a height of up to 20 meters. The surrounding area can be viewed from the 40-meter-high tower. During the autumn foliage, the walk offers an impressive display of colors.

At the end there is a large observation tower, from which, when the weather is nice, you can go far beyond Stuttgart and to the southern Black Forest (at least, probably as far as the Alps, but I haven't seen it myself). For 2 € you can get back down by slide instead of going down.
