Justification for the coat of arms: The head of the pinnacle shield represents the ruins of Rosenberg. The golden bar in the black field is the coat of arms of the Barons of Crailsheim, who were owned by Rügland from 1584 onwards. The two stag sticks are taken from the coat of arms of the Schenk von Schenkenstein, who sat in a castle in Unternbibert.
