This Orthodox church, which was consecrated to St. George, probably no longer serves any devotion and is falling into disrepair. The fresco still shows the rider speared by Lindwurm with the George Cross as a coat of arms. It is a shame that the cloister of the sacred building is used as a parking space for tourist buses instead of restoring this site for tourism. Far be it from me to judge this. However, the current handling of historical buildings in Vokolida / Bafra makes me rather sad. The hiker should visit it while it is still there.
