"A Trun sut igl Ischi" (To Trun by the maple) is the name of the Sursilvaner hymn from 1684, in which they sing about the fathers of the Gray Covenant, which they invoked under this very tree in Trun in 1424. The 600-year-old maple was knocked over in a storm in 1870 and replaced by a seedling from the original tree. Next to it is a monument to the poet of the hymn, G.A. Huonder.
