The Rotterdam Marathon has three clear 'goose bumps' or 'kippenvel' moments. 1) My favorite is as the start where (we have got) Lee Towers sings You Never Walk Alone just for the official canon start. 2) De Alpe du Huez like party with DJ's and spectators in Crooswijk which you have to pass twice, before and after rounding the Kralingse Plas. Finally nr 3) The last 600 meters of course on the Coolsingel, where you will be carried to the finish line by the many fans along the course! This is why Rotterdam is called #demooiste ;-).
