The Schenna Castle in Schenna near Merano is one of the most important castles in South Tyrol. Today you can visit the castle and the state rooms formerly inhabited by the count's family in personal tours of the Count von Spiegelfeld, brother-in-law of the owner.

There are some beautiful irrigation canals around Merano. The one in Schenna combines nature experiences with apple cultivation. Schenna Castle is definitely an eye-catcher.
