The origins of the Plaza de Toros de Zaragoza, also known as the bullring of La Misericordia, date back to the 18th century. Since then, the Zaragoza bullring has undergone successive extensions and reforms, the most important being in 1916, which gave it the appearance it has today, a neo-Mudejar style historicist construction.
