Landmark from 1731

on the border between the Duchy of Pfalz-Zweibrücken and the Archdiocese of Trier from 1514 to 1801. The signatures here are P.Z., the lion of Pfalz-Zweibrücken and the cross coat of arms of the Electorate of Trier. After 1815/16 the stone was used on the same border line between the Grand Duchy of Oldenburg and the Duchy of Saxony-Coburg (from 1834 Kingdom of Prussia). In 1920 the stone was not replaced and served as a special or lower boundary stone in Section D of the Saar area border with the number 51³ Source: Text information board
