The Colébi is one of the most famous and remarkable ravines in Wallonia. Located on the right bank of the Meuse, south of Dinant, it constitutes a veritable canyon which cuts perpendicularly into the Condroz plateau over nearly 600 meters in length. The site has multiple interests. On the geological level, one will note the existence of tanks, or 'pots', which were dug over the ages by vortex erosion, when the Falmignoul stream still borrowed the bottom of the ravine. The biotopes are very varied and contrasted. Thus, on the slope exposed to the south, one can admire, between thickets of boxwood (Buxus sempervirens) and thorns, some calcicole lawns where grow the rare monkey orchis (Orchis simia), the globular (Globularia bisnagarica) and other plants. unusual. The north facing slope is occupied by a magnificent maple grove of ravine rich in ferns such as deer tongue (Asplenium scolopendrium), very characteristic of this type of forest.
    Public access:
Access possible from the Anseremme-Falmignoul road (plateau) or from the path along the right bank of the Meuse (valley). Traffic difficult, even impossible in some places.

The terrain is markedly rocky and this variant is therefore only reserved for the sporty walker. The ravine is an extremely valuable and vulnerable nature reserve, please respect local regulations at all times.
Attention initially you try to follow a path through the ravine. You pass high rocks to the right of the path. Eventually you will bump into a rock wall. Here you have to climb a few meters, some climbing experience is useful. You will then enter a large cauldron. Here you take a gorge on the right, strewn with boulders. The gorge ends at the rock face.
