The Baroque parish church of St. James the Elder was built in 1773. It has three altars and four bells hang in the tower. The ceiling frescoes and three altarpieces from 1770 are by Anton Franz Zeller. The chapel also features an organ, an organ loft, and a baptismal font from the same period, as well as a Roland column, the "Prangerhansl" (Pillory Hans) from 1595. Various offenses were punished in the pillory.

Gravel riding

The present church was built between 1771 and 1773 in the late Baroque style, on the site of an older church from the early 12th century (a foundation stone dated 1115 was found). The first written mention of the parish dates from 1251.

Until 1945, the church and parish were under the patronage of the Premonstratensian monastery in Geras in Lower Austria.

Since 2014, the church, along with its furnishings, has been a Czech national cultural monument.
