Passing from DOMERIE d'AUBRAC to the monastery of NOTRE DAME de BONNEVAL, after 17 km, you cross the village of CONDOM-d'AUBRAC. The name comes from condominium and means monastic community. As everywhere in Aubrac, the houses are solidly built in granite and covered with large slates. There is a rest area at the village hall; drinking water is available on request in each house. The café that still appears on the maps and guides is now permanently closed. It is a good place to regain strength before the last, exhausting part of the way to the monastery.
