    Hiking

A very good hiking and cycling path has been built along the old railway line from Manacor to Arta. Reopened in 2014, it offers new possibilities for getting around, away from the main roads.

Until 1977, Son Servera was still connected to Artà by rail. The station building, built in 1921, still exists and served as the terminus. There were long discussions about whether to reopen the railway line. Ultimately, however, the route was converted into a 30 km long hiking and cycling path (Via Verde) and is now a popular tourist destination.

    Hiking

The Via Verde leads on the originally planned railway line from Manacor to Artà.
A route which, with its great views, is particularly popular with cyclists, joggers, hikers and riders.
