The Reckingen power plant is a run-of-river power plant on the Upper Rhine, around 700 meters above the Rekingen train station. Because the power plant building is on the Baden side of the Reckingen district of the Küssaberg municipality, the spelling with ck is used and not the spelling of the Rekingen municipality on the Swiss side.
