Agbod is classified as a Cultural Environment of National Interest:
Agbod fishing village was used by the farms Kyrkebinge and Gajrvide and is located solely below Storsund's bird sanctuary in eastern Gothem. The fishing village is well preserved and consists of about ten wooden sheds, most from the turn of the century 1900, but also two older bulhus. There is also a boathouse with one of Gotland's best-preserved large folk fishing boats.
