Large vaulted room, in sandstone from the mines of the region, built at the beginning of the 12th century, extended over more than 30 meters in length with two series of pillars, the Pressoirs were the cellar of the nuns of Hautes-Bruyères who measured the foodstuffs sold in market installed nearby.
Dependency of the priory of the order of Fontevrault before the Revolution, it was sold as national property in 1792.
The building was classified as a historical monument in 1926
