The Rutscherhofsäge is a high-rise saw in the Löffeltal and was relocated to its current location in 2002, where the Michelthomilis saw once stood. The historical monument once stood in Bruckbach on the grounds of the Faller family and was moved to the Löffeltal near Hinterzarten under the direction of the "Heimatpfad Hochschwarzwald" association and rebuilt in great detail. The Rutscherhofsäge documents the timber industry of the 18th and 19th centuries in the Black Forest. A gear drive with transmission and connecting rod (stilt) testify to the former technology, which was a prerequisite for efficient sawing. The Hochgangsäge regularly takes part in the German Milling Day.
