The chapel is in baroque style.
The interior decoration was financed by the Gervais brothers, Joseph and Guillaume Genamy, authorized merchants at the Imperial Court in Vienna, originally from Saint-Nicolas-de-Véroce1.
The altar, in Cordoba leather, is overlooked by a painting consaded to the “Coronation of the Virgin” (done c. 1730) by the Czech painter Philippe-Christian de Bentum2,3.
It is placed under the protection of Saint Donat and Saint Léonard who appear on one of the paintings exhibited in the chapel.
Two medallions are present on the front with the following inscriptions:
“When you look at the sun, think that after this great awakening from the death of this world a Throne equaling in beauty of the sun the clarity awaits us in Heaven where all pleasure abounds. »« Ascending & descending the moon is not full for long. Here Bas always believes the trouble. Pleasure decreases when it is born. Let us seek in Heaven. The joy always full & certain. 1722 G.I.G.P.M.B.D.W. "
It was built in 1694 and then altered in 1720 and 1723.
The building was listed as a historical monument in 19764.
The chapel was restored during the 2010s.
