Tips
The church, dedicated to Nicolas de Myre, is attested only in 1280, while supposing that it could be much earlier. It is linked to the abbey of Contamine-sur-Arve. However, it seems that the church received in the 11th century a relic of the saint, a bone from the wrist, which is enshrined in a reliquary arm, becoming a center of dissemination of the saint for Savoy.Built in 1725 thanks to the financial contribution of those who migrated (peddlers, etc.), it reflects the religious fervor of an entire valley at the beginning of the 18th century.
