Since October 2021, the Mühlensteg has been available for cyclists and pedestrians. It is part of the Enzradweg (Enz cycle path). Directly at the access to the bridge, a large playground has been built in the Enzpark. You can also see a mill wheel in action. It doesn't drive a millstone, but a generator that produces electricity. The bridge offers new photo opportunities of Besigheim.
Work is currently underway on the continuation of the cycle path. Once completed, you will be able to cycle under the Enz bridge.

The new section of the cycle path (Mühlensteg) through the Enzpark allows you to ride at river level and cross it. With a little consideration and moderate speed, trouble-free riding is possible even on Sundays and public holidays! On the Enzterrasse (near the road bridge), there is catering on summer weekends, as well as occasionally at the Ernst'schen Mühle, directly on the jetty.
