The Hochwaldstraße is a paved hiking trail above Schmiedeberg. Feels like a high path, but it almost exclusively leads through the forest. I mostly drive around Schmiedeberg on the Hochwaldstraße and that in both directions. The Hochwaldstraße is very pleasant to ride on a racing bike, the surface is of good quality.
