From the hill near the Bitzenberg there are a variety of beautiful views, first down to the town of Bickensohl and other places in the inner Kaiserstuhl such as Oberrotweil and behind them Burkheim with its striking church and castle ruins. Also to the north on the main ridge of the Kaiserstuhl and to the east on the Totenkopf as the highest mountain in the Kaiserstuhl. In the west, the Vosges can be admired when visibility is good.
