The altar was built in 1861 by Anton Lagger from Münster. The picture depicts the Holy Family on the way to the temple in Jerusalem. The church is dedicated to St. Joseph, church festival March 19th. Above the picture is the Sacred Heart, which is highly revered in the parish. The right side altar is a copy of the baldachin altar, which was built around 1400 and is in the National Museum in Zurich. The copy was made by Walter Furrer and Peter Geisler and blessed on December 8th, 1996. Among other things, the martyrdom of St. Romanus is depicted.
