Today's peak is actually a suburb of the city of Krk, which consists of the following settlements: Vrh, Kosići and Salatići. These places have a total of 769 inhabitants. The settlement of the hinterland of the city of Krk only began in the 15th century. The first known settlement was Brajde, after which Vrh, Kosići, Salatići and Bučul emerged. Over time, these settlements merged and today's three separate groups of houses emerged; Top, salads and kosići.
