The Naturfreundehaus is located near the scattered settlement Lochhäuser. There you can sleep well, you can find information about it here: naturfreunde-rheinfelden.de

All around, the moor areas convey an impression of the former wilderness nature of the Black Forest. Right next to the murmuring spring in the meadow slope lies the natural history museum of the Biological Station with its impressive collection of partly live animals. Passing the Naturfreundehaus a grass path leads in the direction of mountain forest. An older ski lift is reminiscent of long, snowy winters of earlier times.
