A spectacular place with various rock pools in a rock plateau on sea level, but be aware this is a dangerous place. South of Burning Palms Beach, you will need to do some rock-hopping over basketball-sized rocks and a challenging walk across wet, slippery rock ledges. Visit Figure Eight Pools only at low tide AND low swell! Plan your trip using the wave risk forecast (nationalparks.nsw.gov.au)

Watch out for the tide! check online at the NP website, and from distance you can see if the rocks are washed over by the ocean waves or not. It is well explained on the way, so make sure to read the info boards by the track. Also note that you must climb over rocks, there is no built road or path to the pool.
