As soon as you get out of the urbanized strip between mountains and sea, the beautiful natural landscape of northern Tuscany begins. With a very gentle slope, the road leads along the small stream Lucese, only the last two kilometers are a bit steeper, but still remain moderate. At the highest point of the route (216m, one might hardly call it a pass) a combined bicycle shop pub bar invites you to take a break. The exit direction Lucca then a pleasure roles. Recommendation: Imitation, no matter in which direction, but I think how we did it is nicer.
