If you want to go to the Moselle from Boppard, you can leisurely climb 350m in 7.5km through the quiet Mühlbachtal. The road is quite narrow, which is why not so many cars use it. On the way there is a beautiful viewing point with a bench at Mühltalblick where you can take a leisurely break.
Asphalt is good, it's a pleasure going downhill!

The ascent from Boppard to Pfaffenheck overcomes around 8 kilometers of 350 meters in altitude with a predominantly moderate incline and offers one or the other beautiful view of the Rhine Valley or the Thomasbachtal. It's rather quiet here, without a lot of car or motorcycle traffic. You drive on (mostly) good asphalt through the forest and, once you have arrived in Pfaffenheck, you can drive right on the other side either through the Aspelbachtal to Niederfell or the former mountain racing route down to the Moselle to Alken. A real recommendation!

Nice climb from Boppard to Pfaffenheck. The Mühltal has a moderate gradient throughout and is therefore easy to master. Once at the top, you can thunder straight back down to the Moselle to Alken.
