In the cloth house, the linen inspector checked the quality of the most important export goods in the Middle Ages. For centuries, the building was used as a salt warehouse, and from 1828 a "hall office" was set up to control the quality of the "white gold". Today, the hall building houses the city library and Isny Marketing GmbH with Isny Info and Isny Shop. The Blaser tower served as a watchtower in the Middle Ages.
