From here you can already see the skyline of the former steelworks in Belval! Iron ore is no longer smelted here today, but a whole new district was created here. However, many elements of the former steelworks have been preserved, such as the two blast furnaces. Belval is definitely worth a visit!

The Belval site extends approximately two kilometers from Beles toward Raemerich and approximately 800 meters wide from Escher Strasse in Beles toward Belval Usines. The mines and steelworks are closed, except for the rolling mill, which is still in operation today.
