This small lighthouse forms a line with the Punta del Castillo tower. Both towers are 7 meters high, with the first one at 15 meters above sea level and the one at the Castle at 27 meters. The light of the two is white; that of Villueira reaches 9 MN and that of Castillo 11 MN. A few meters from the first are the remains of an old, completely abandoned salting factory.
