At 97 meters, the Todtnau Waterfall is the highest natural waterfall in Germany. Between Todtnauberg and Aftersteg, the water of the Stübenbach falls over several cascades. The completely natural waterfall has been a listed monument since 1987 and is one of the special natural monuments in Germany.
A short hike is recommended along the Todtnau Waterfall circular trail from Todtnau to the Todtnau Waterfalls and along the meadow path from Todtnau-Aftersteg back to Todtnau.

It feels like it's not just one waterfall but several. In addition, the rocks and the moss and other plants in the immediate vicinity are interesting!

Whenever possible, walk from Todtnauberg all the way to Todtnau! The entire route is really sensational and, especially in the lower regions, practically "deserted"! 👍
Most tourists only go to the waterfall and back again ...
