A very beautiful and natural trail.
Initially rather steep and flowy with one or the other root.
The lower part gets rockier and narrower and requires certain trail experience.

After the actual trail follows a very steep descent into the Wiedtal. The descent is full of large and loose rocks that should not be underestimated.

The trail ends right in front of Hotel Wiedfriede and can be used for a drink break ;)

Tip:
The trail is difficult to integrate from the Wiedtal because it requires a long ascent.
We recommend the ascent via the Brochenbachtal, past the Stümperich explosive site and parallel to the road on the forest path (very muddy in autumn!) to Hahnen and from there into the forest on the trail.
