The first chapel in the locality of San Vittore with a dedication to the saints Vittore and Corona was built starting from the 10th century.

A written document that has come down to us dating back to 1350 testifies that the small place of worship at that time was among the availability of the Cluniac monks of the male monastery of San Gabriele in Cremona.

In the 10s of the twentieth century the bell tower was erected and in 1921 it obtained autonomy from the point of view of ecclesiastical jurisdiction from the church of Santa Maria in Colognola, thus being elevated to parish dignity.

Between 1928 and 1929 it was the subject of an almost complete reconstruction and the parts of the ancient building that concerned the original main façade were demolished while the presbytery and apse structures were preserved. In this way the frescoed walls were maintained and were therefore incorporated into the modern building. After these works, the church was blessed and inaugurated in 1930.
