2/3 of the way between the Pfortscharte and the Glorer Hütte is secured with rope. In good conditions you don't need a climbing set, but it would be worthwhile to wear one because of the length. I would recommend it for children. Otherwise, the path is easy to manage but also quite exhausting.

The path winds along the western steep slopes at an altitude of around 2600 m. In the southern part there are more steep meadow slopes, to the north there are rocky or stony steep slopes with sometimes deeply cut smaller gorges through which the narrow path winds up and down. More difficult sections are secured with wire ropes. However, via ferrata equipment is not necessary. However, nowhere does it point out that this is a more difficult path that requires appropriate skills (a certain head for heights, sure-footedness, experience). For an exciting circular tour between Lucknerhaus and Glorerhütte, this "climbing path" in conjunction with the easier path to the south between Lucknerhaus and Glorerhütte is ideal, as they are two very different paths through different landscapes with completely different views. Many chamois and ibex can be observed on the rocky slopes (protected area!). Unfortunately, when it rains the path quickly becomes muddy and slippery! At the southern end of the path, on the southwest corner of the mountain range, it is worth climbing to the White Knot (magnificent views!).

Glorerhütte very good currywurst and drinks were also very good. Lucknerhütte great fries, cheese dumplings and cakes as well as drinks 👍. Both huts have nice service. 💯👏
