Segnesboden, fen, and moorland: Even if you regularly walk on the upper or lower Segnesboden, you'll see a different view each time. The streams on the two plateaus constantly change their course. New lakes form and then disappear again.Parts of the lower Segnesboden are also of national importance as fens and moorland. The original mountain valley north of the Segneshütte was filled with the debris brought by the mountain streams.
