Favàritx Lighthouse (Menorca). Iconic and solitary, it stands on a landscape of dark rock and almost lunar shapes. The contrast between the black and white lighthouse, the intense sea and the constant wind creates a unique atmosphere and one of the most powerful images of the island. By mountain bike, access is via a stony and sun-exposed track, with some irregular but cycleable sections. Tip: avoid the hours of maximum heat, bring water and enjoy the silence - when the tramuntana blows, the experience is pure Menorca.
