The Strasshof transit camp (Dulag) in Strasshof on the Nordbahn north of Vienna served the National Socialists as a labor and internment camp until its liberation on April 6, 1945. It was located northwest of the Strasshof train station in the vicinity of the Universale Bau GembH und Co KG premises and was equipped for 6,000 people.
The citizens of the Strasshof community built a memorial for the victims, which was inaugurated on October 2, 2011. (c) Wikipedia
