The path to the right is on an alpine, well maintained path, partly secured to the Pico Grande.
Super round trip from Curral das freiras on the Pico Grande, Pico do Jorge, direction Pico Ruivo, then again descent to Curral das freiras, about 1300 meters, 15 kilometers. At last you feel like you're in the Alps again. Not much for someone who only walks levadas.
