The mural was created on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Greater Poland Uprising. The mural on the wall of the tenement house at al. John Paul II presents Ignacy Jan Paderewski, an outstanding Polish pianist and composer, independence activist, statesman and politician. It was Paderewski's arrival to Poznań in December 1918 that was the impetus for the outbreak of the Greater Poland Uprising, thanks to which Leszno and Greater Poland returned to the borders of independent Poland. The author of the mural is prof. Arkadiusz Marcinkowski. The mural was unveiled on November 9, 2018
