Hiking

Imposing way to the Hlauptungufoss

Hiking

Begins behind the parking lot as a wide gravel path through (moist) meadows and is not particularly exciting (1 km). Much nicer is the extension of the path that leads through a beautiful small birch forest. Located on private property but legal 9/2022. Very muddy after rain. Unfortunately, as a result, many tourists come across vegetation that is still intact. Simply use suitable hiking shoes that can also get dirty.
