With its partial roof, the bridge offers a futuristic sight. The roof protects the pylon construction; because it was used as a cross-country ski bridge, the bridge could not be fully roofed over.

Such a bridge with a roof can only be seen in the Lech Valley. But it's supposed to protect you from the snow.
